Dear Bambs: glad to see your outlook for the future has brightened. (gg)
Incidentally, I think the excitement comes from CSCO beating even the optomistic revenue numbers and better yet sees at least 3-5 years MORE of rapid growth. No one thought it was possible but they are finally admitting CSCO has changed the law of Physics as it relates to large numbers!! JDN

Was that a congratulations to the longs? Wow what class.

.Well I'm here...I'm congratulating the longs. You
bums were never around when I called CSCO a short twice at $70 and watched it slide to $55 and $50. You bums have the Wall Street pump
and dump crowd on your side. Big money pushing CSCO because their jobs depend on it.

Tact is not one of your strong suits - is it.

FWIW it's not the one cent over that has everyone excited. It's the blow out revenue number AND strong forward guidance.

BTW: Cisco went from $70 to $50 - true... but it never went from $70 to $55 a second time. I'm not sure where you get your data. For the longs, they are still looking good - true they didn't take advantage of the trading opportunity but they are investors, not traders and you should know that there is nothing wrong with that.

OG

I'm a bum? OG's a wanker?

Pump and dump? LOL!

You know what? I agree with your outlook on the market overall. I'm a daytrader, just like you are! You sit in front of you computer and tell people that are long the stock right now that they are bums because they didn't say anything when you called a short?

That's not a good daytrading attitude. That's emotion. You screwed up and you lash out with a personal attack. I take it personally. I sent you a pleasant message suggesting that you might be wrong, and you come back and call me a bum.

I'll tell you what...I'm up on the day in a big way, I'm in cash right this minute, and if you were short and covered for a loss, I now kinda sorta have your money. I just checked the dictionary and that definition of "bum" doesn't show up. The difference here is when I take a hit, I don't blame it on the environment. I blame myself, because I pulled the trigger.

Your fingers are typing checks your mind can't cash.

Wise up and apologize to OG. You should pay more attention to him. He's not stupid.

Neither am I.

bambs, your short selling talents are in direct proportion to your ability to do due diligence.

You are right when you say that CSCO set the expectations to be $.01 lower than actual. They can do that because they can conduct trial closes with 2 hours' notice. CSCO knows what the numbers are all the time. They are able to set expectations and beat them any time.

So knowing all this, why would you think they would miss their numbers?
