As I said in another post, people who purchased this stock prior to this year were buying a dollar of earnings significantly cheaper than buyers now are.

In the past, CSCO holders were indeed compensated for their risk, as you said. At CSCO's current price, they are not.

CSCO had a home run quarter. The stock returned zero for the quarter. That will be the case as the earnings catch up to the valuation.

I am not a day trader. I am a long term investor. And just as there are probably a number of stocks that are more attractive shorts than CSCO, there are also a lot of stocks that are more attractive longs.
