EMC shareholders will receive shares of McData as a dividend.
I thought I read that this dividend would be about 1 share of MCDT for every 30 or 40 shares of EMC. It seems to me that there would be quite a few shareholders with 1 or 2 shares of MCDT. Doesn't that seem rather inefficient? I mean they will have to send the annual report and various papers to all stockholders, even those with one or two shares.

if you want to watch some folks making real $ fast, put MCDT on your screen.

Yeah, McData is a switch making division for the storage industry, and is being spun off by EMC. Similar to Q and Spinco?, EMC shareholders will receive shares of McData as a dividend.

clearly, you are headed the same route as Dr. David Gleidtman, a regular Porcher and recent subject of a front-page WSJ article on doctors who have cut down on their practices to concentrate on daytrading. Except, of course, that Dr. Gleidtman, given his specialty, outranks you and the other sawbones here by far.
