You missed your calling as a stand up comic. <G>
AMDs execution is hardly flawless but they sure have a better core to work with compared to the 'ole K-6.
An SMP chipset and 133 Mhz Irongate is all they are lacking at this point in time...not to mention an extra speed grade or two.
As far as Chipsets and mobos...it's all about control.
Of course in order to get DDR chipsets made, since Intel signed their soul over to RAMBUS they will have to give back some "control" to the Taiwan chippies...which as you know will cause, lags, delays, revisions and so on...
And slow launches...yawn.

OTOH, Intel should consider "execution" out the door for whomever put that Rambus roadmap into play.
