Hi unc, there is also something else in play here. If you are a componenent maker and use LED's. If you see the low price, high quality leader getting booked up this early in the year, wouldn't you feel pressure to go ahead and commit to a purchase contract to get a decent delivery? This has got to help Cree's bargaining position in signing contracts for the next 6 months. I know Neal is lowering ASP's, but he is a savvy businessman also.

Hopefully AMAT's report will also give Cree a boost today.

last week, cree ceo promised 60% growth...now we know why.


Yes, CREE definitely has the backlog. Do you know when the additional capacity kicks in to really start taking advantage of the backlog growth?
