The deal is that Rick Whittington is the B of A semi analyst, and this equip analyst Fitzgerald is the new hire there. Whittington is wildly bullish, so this guy is setting himself apart by being an equip bear. He'd simply be in Whittington's shadow if he were a bull, too.

That's all that is going on. The semi industry is being pounded by the analysts who assume we will follow the usual boom bust pattern, and some of them are positioning themselves this way for political reasons.
This is as much bs as I have seen in a long time.
