Making money is the objective of the Wall Street game. Having said that I wonder if you would complain lets say a year from now - if (and of course I do realize this is a IF ) - LSI trades at $150/shr or more?

Let me tell you about my own situation. I had SUNW for almost 5 years (1994-1998/99), I did make quite a nice profit on the stock when I sold it at around $70-72/shr 1 split ago (or about $35-$36 post-split). Am I complaining about missing the $80/shr run up since I sold it? Perhaps not complaining since after all I did make my money, but a bit sorry trying to time the market and be so analytical about stock jumping too high, etc. etc. etc. etc.! Solid companies should be sold if and only if you do really need the cash to pay your kid's tuition, buy a house, or medical emergencies! Otherwise, why not holding on to something that is solid and is growing with time?! Exceptions of course occure when valuations get too high compare to the rest of the market. Case and point, yesterday I sold majority of my shares in Cisco. Not because of company fundamentals, but simply because I felt at half a trillion dollars cisco is way ahead of its time in valuation as it is as big as GE and bigger than most economies of 3rd world countries (or elsewhere)!

Regards,
