Isn't there a substantial penalty for paying late? I know if you don't pay your quarterlies on time it's basically a loan at around the prime rate, but was under the impression that if you didn't settle up by 4/15 they hit you pretty hard. For some reason I want to say 5% a month up to a cap of 30% + interest, but that's a vague recollection. BTW, I took the extension for filing, but I sent a check along with the request that should have covered my liability.
