Actually Kenneth, GPRS is a wireless technology that promises higher bandwidth for wireless network using radio frequency. It is a middle step before 3G (UMTS) which is the ultimate goal of the wireless Operator to provide ALL (palm, cellphone, laptop, etc.etc.) wireless device BROADBAND access to Internet/Intranet for data/voice/video applications. GPRS is not a provisioning software/technology.

Call waiting is also not what I would an equipment which
"provisions service". It simply allows the 64K copper wire to handle both voice & data simultaneously.....so in essence it's more of an add-on enhancement to the current dial-up modem.

Provisioning as I understand the term is all about quickly/efficiently activating/deactivating customer accounts & activating/deactivating features/applications/services.
