Regarding the competition or future competition, I believe you have hit the nail on the head. It is the "big boys" that are the real threat to USIX. Can USIX grow into a "critical mass" size that allows them to not only survive but to prosper before they are squashed? Squashing the competition is a favorite Ellison tactic that has worked before. I have to believe that this is where the investment risk is in this company.
Regarding the debt Rupert: we could see more before we see less if that is what is required for growth. IMHO

Hi Sun,

i cannot see IBM nor any other software manufacturer competing head to head with usix.

Only in a situation where the customer wants only IBM, or MFST, or Oracle software can they beat usix. Not being in IT, just an investor/observer, I'd certainly want the best suite available for my company and the liklihood of any one mfg'er providing that, well, I don't think so.
