John, I said in a post here, or somewhere, that I wished
the earnings statements order this week would have been different. Dell, then AMAT, then Cisco would have been better. Dell was really the only one that had me worried. That Gartner report yesterday faked me out. Damn units vs. revenues head fake. This is like your NFL team losing big going into a bye week. Wait, we still have HP next Wednesday. Oh oh, back to that Gartner report, and as I recall, HP was next to last (IBM), or, as a positive spinner would say, they were third.

Major disbelief now happening on the AMAT thread, just like the AMD threads. AMAT's the undisputed freakin' leader in their field, though, with no slipups. What's up with that? The C word (cycle) I guess.
