jean....re: "dell going down...anemic sales growth"

dell going down, in spite of acceptable earnings and sales growth, due to the inability over the past six quarters of management, particularly "mikey" to instill confidence in investors.....when you state "best year ever", and the numbers are not exciting....makes one have cause for concern....

good company, well run, but does not meet the street expectations of what it should be....thread can argue all day about it's merits, but it has failed as a stock since it's january 1999 peak....

perception, perception, perception....no exciting products, just the same old reliable stuff....good for dell customers, bad for dell investors....

where oh where is the "wunderkind"......guess it will take a new book to get him out in the public....my how things have changed!......old, cumbersome cpq nipping on its heels....stock price wise!

good luck....ed a.

Jean you seem to have some adolescent pleasure in Dell's stock decline. It is not the first time Dell has visited the 30's and it is not the first or last time I will profit from it.

It seems you have a need to act out some sort of self fulfilling quest publicly?

Stocks do not move in a straight line! I know your happy it's down now but will you be equally sad when it again rises? Or are you making money at this? You did say you do not short in an early post?

Look at Dell's 52 week range when the revs. were less than current; [35 - 59.69]

Do you think this "bloated pig" will break 35?
