Just finished the conference call.

This is absurd. THEY'RE BLAMING Y2K FOR PART OF THE SALES MISS. Somebody needs to show them a calendar.

Makes you wonder what the problem really is.

Agreed on Dell - great company, lousy stock for the past year. CPQ definitely has the momo's attention as it's breaking away from 30. Interesting though that the SSB analyst (Rich Gardner) who recently put a $25 target on CPQ is downgrading DELL today. How right was he on CPQ?

2/1/99 55 then later went to almost 60- i was on vacation and got a call from my discount broker-after he said he wouldn't ask for more money-i had sent him a lot a couple of times not long before the vacation and he assured me he'd leave me alone the week i was away
