THE ANALYSTS CAN SEE....?

Disagree with your comments on this. It looks more to me that the analysts are paid by their masters, who have their own interests in:

-- riding negative sentiment as far down as possible
(while buying)

-- telling the analysts: "we need some upgrades now"

-- selling their cheap shares to their clients

Possibly just my paranoia.

Best wishes,
Jim

Michael197123,

RE "Just like Titos staircase workers are building a new base, hopefully at 65."

... reminds me of how, in the Bull Market of 1994 - 95, I agonizingly watched AMAT climbed from 63 to 120.

... then, in the Spring of the following Bull Market of 1996 - 97, a Lady Analyst from SSB issued a Sell signal around 63 (post split) --- a move that triggered the Traders to lift Up the stock to 108. The Lady Analyst later switched jobs --- from Semi-Equip to simply Semi analyst.

... again, in the Spring of last year, another Analyst from SSB (again!)downgraded AMAT saying the Cycle is over. As a result, AMAT the Kid YoYoed himself Up not only to over 100 but to 230 (reflecting split adjusted 115). Said Analyst recently switched companies and is happily Bullish now.

... so again we find AMAT (shamed again by the Analysts) playing along at this 63 level (again !) The recent Low was recorded at 64 3/4 a few days ago.

,,, so Michael197123, you might Hit the nail at 65 this time. According to my Spy, the AMAT StairCase Construction Workers are slowly coming back from vacation now and are going to work once the AMAT YoYo Kid sets foot at the top of the first step of the Two-step Landing (at 95 and 110). Right now, the AMAT Kid is afraid of GrandPa Greenspan's admonition that he should not play on top of the Landing --- thus the Workers have no need to construct the Risers above the Landing yet...
