Bill. Thanks for info on TXN CEO. I have been keeping my eye on TXN for a purchase.

Re: Has any of the candidates an energy policy?

Yes. Bush is for more exploration here and for stronger prodding of our allies that produce oil, plus other things, including hydrogen. But some want to tear down those dams that could give us hydrogen. Things have been neglected on this front under Clinton/Gore. Like I mentioned before: Their own energy sec. Richardson has said that they were sleeping at the wheel. And I can't see it improving under Gore/Lieberman. Gore is on the fav. list of the Sierra Club. Exploration is not on the front burner with this group. A little too aggressive on the environment front. Don't get me wrong. I am for the environment but it has to have its limits if we don't want to go back to the cave time. They don't want nuclear, hydrogen, oil and you name it. Talking about Gore's slogan: A Bush administration would set us back to the past. Well, again, under Gore we could go back to candle light and horse buggy. <G>
