Jeff, blow out quarter reported yesterday at Analog Devices. Geesh, it almost has the feeling of a tornado. Has anybody here ever read the book, The Gorilla Game? . The author describes the technology value chain as such... Application software (5) \| Systems software (4) \| Hardware ( 3) \| Semiconductors (2) \| Electricity (1) The lower layers have the opportunity to become the most indigenous and intrinsic to the value chain (ala Intel). Since electricity sits at the bottom of the value chain, and we are beginning to experience an order of magnitude upgrade in the whole infrastructure, anything 'Powercosm'(ala GG) would seem to be included in the tornado. In that scenerio, smtc is just getting warmed up. Did anybody here listen to the ADI call? leeza
