There was a vital interest in Vietnam: chromium. And we could have won in Vietnam if we had wanted to, did not abide by the "DMZ," and used psychological warfare against them.

My Marine friends in Vietnam often observed how superstitious most of the Viet Cong were. We could have used that (instead of napalm) to defeat them.
