Barry,

How many DRAM patents do you think there are? 10,000 maybe? Are they all worth 3% royalties? Should every memory manufacturer be required to pay 30,000% royalties to other companies in the industry?

If every silly little patent is worth 3% royalties, the DRAM companies will exit the manufacturing business and go into the IP only business.

Why build anything when you can leech off of other people's hard work?
