I'm Mr. Almost Earthquake. Although I live in Texas, I often vacation on the west coast. 10 days before the 89 San Francisco earthquake I was in San Francisco. Then there was a big quake in LA back in 94, and my wife and I were driving from Seattle to Houston. At the last minute we decided not to go down the coast and to take the more direct route. Had we not, we would have reached LA about the time of the quake.
