Gosh, there are nice people here. I really do appreciate the messages. This post of yours is much nicer than mere flowers, CM.

I hope what they say is true about not becoming an addict if you're taking a lot of narcotics like morphine and percocet, and I mean a LOT, for pain as opposed to for pleasure. Because if that's a myth, I'm gonna end up one major junkie.

Speaking of flowers, my garden died, just dried right up, the whole thing, almost, in the foremath (I just made that up, i can't remember the correct word. Forward? Prelude?) of the hospitalization and the days there. Amazing how fast nature can return to itself if one's mind wanders even ever so briefly from the project of domesticating it.

I have mentioned here that I have pretty boring dreams as a rule, not at all literarily/aesthetically interesting like penni's or cobe's or croc's or gaugie's or like the dreams of many others here; but on morphine, I dream up there with the best of them. Oddly, the percocet (2 every 2 hours) seems to put a damper on the dreams, and the oral morphine doesn't stimulate them as frequently or vividly as did the IV.

And that, ladies and gentlemen, is all I have to say. Do not give it a grade, i'm high as a kite and entirely self-centered.

'Night, dear ones.

Oh look, drugs make me sentimental, too.
