I remember that same rumor about 6 or 7 years ago. IBM has no need for NOVL.

I rode in 1st class with an IBM exec recently and grilled him about everything I could. He said IBM was overburdened with service orders and would very much like to buy up computer service firms to handle their overload. Said IBM had bought 40 companies last year. Thought UIS and NOVL were ridiculously cheap. Admitted SUNW their toughest competitor.

IBM denies the rumor according to CNBC. Momo play is losing steam.
