<<the big bear is coming and if we continue much higher there, it will take the form of a severe crisis!! >>

I sure hope you are right CC. It is just a matter of timing.....some day we will correct but when? I have expected a correction for no less than 18 months<bummer>.
I have also expected BAY to soar for about the same length of time.....to be fair BAY has done a good job of holding it's own...but I would have expected $5 by now with the progress BAY has made. PM just cannot attract attention and until the melt down happens, they never will. While we all understand this it is not putting a lot of money in our pockets!

Sign me as a goldbug taking his last gulp of air....need some oxygen soon!

Claude,

Is the "big bear" negative or positive for silver? If you view silver as a commodity it is negative- as an investment positive (I know where you stand but Joe Q doesn't have the same mind as CC and Joe Q rules the market these days <g>). Where is silver these days- commodity or investment? IMO if the market "tanks" it will be negative for silver until people perceive it as an investment. That means short term downside and extreme long term up on silver prices. On BAY stock, I am more than pleased that it is holding it's own- it means there is some strong support. I am invested in this company (as well as my kids) simply because I believe the management can make the present producers s**t in their pants with their grades and operating costs. Perhaps that means a takeover, but big companies like things their way (price wise) <g>. They may be willing to sit and wait for BAY to dig a hole in their (our) pockets before acquiring. I believe that BAY can probably make money in this environment which almost represents the worst we will see for silver in the next 20 years. The only question is can they finance the development now without losing their (the shareholder's) shirts... The great management on this one makes me comfortable that it will work out the right way. Let's speculate... it might get quiet for awhile.
