I am really beginning to believe that the August-October cycle is not in effect this year. I am thinking that we have one more significant pullback before the end of the month and then strong for the rest of the year. this prediction calls for a celebration... Anyway Japan is recovering and prior to their collapse (early 90s) they were a HUGE market for technology - now they are going to have to backfill for a decade. So when people say these mega-caps are topped out growth-wise I wouldn't be so sure. If I recall correctly the hardware players had Japan as #2 market once.
