They have know about this for months. electronicnews.com Intel said it has not totally abandoned its RDRAM plans and its roadmap shows that Intel will use RDRAM for its performance line. "No, we are not dropping Rambus from the mainstream segment," an Intel spokesman said. "We have an SDRAM plan with our Rambus plan. And we are investigating DDR too.
