Technically he wasn't impeached, and the
obstruction charge didn't even make it out of the House.

Don't get me wrong. I think the guy is sleeze.
He undermined his ability to get done what he wished
to achieve, but I just don't think the whole thing
was really on the level of high crimes
and misdemeanors like the other incidents
I cited by some of the preceding presidents
which effected the working of the government.

Just wonder what other Presidents would say under oath
if millions of dollars were spent trying
to find something or anything on a person,
when and if some of these other presidents
infidelities were hung out to see.

As Kissinger said, power is the ultimate aphrodisiac
and many in power abuse that power regardless
of morality.

Anyway, back to taxes.

Whatever one thinks of Gore, Lieberman was
a good choice to counteract these morality themes
that don't really address the issues, especially
since in my opinion his many politicians are corrupted
by power and the fund driven nature of the system.
