I don't think my vision of America is quite in synch with Republican Party lines! Hahahaha... However, their ideas of freedom, overall, are closer to what the Founding Fathers had in mind than the Democrat's ideas.

The Republicans fail, unfortunately, to carry the definition of liberty across the board. To truly be a Party that supports individual liberty they would have to support and apply the Constitutional guarantees of rights to gay men and women, support a woman's right to choice regarding abortion, etc.

Here they fall flat because they mix religious ideology with national, political platforms. This is the dichotomy that spoils (to an extent) the appeal of Republicans to those that look for a Party that defends individual freedoms and the responsibilities each of us has to maintain those freedoms and respect the inalienable rights of others.
