Yes, very interesting. MOT supports 1xEV without even a mention of 1XSTREME. Sounds like HDR has won the 1xEV standardization process.

I feel pretty safe in saying that when MOT talks about 1xEV-DV they are talking about 1XTREME. It is nice to see that MOT is willing to face reality....they must have gotten some demands for new equipment. I wonder if MOT is going to attempt to make their own ASIC's....

It is interesting to note that MOT is conducting the NTT WCDMA tests in Japan, while simultaneously endorsing 1xEV(they can't be very impressed). Seems NTT has figured out NOK is smoking mirrors when it comes to CDMA and are relying on MOT. Will MOT play a pivotal role in introducing 1xEV with the GSM/WCDMA cabal?
