Bleck! New England Boiled Salt - Carcass, more like it. I actually used to eat this once upon a time. My favorite part was the vegetables. Onions, potatoes, carrots, cabbage. I think a vegetable stew in a salty vegetable broth would be good. I also liked the spice balance that came with the meat. Needs to be adapted to a boiled cabbage recipe somehow. Without the "meat".

I make a great pecan pie but I use dark karo, not white karo, makes it taste like pralines. I seem to be obsessing about food, it's because I am on the Atkins diet and can't eat any of this stuff, except for the greens.
