Wily, Thanks for the article from wired. This is rather fascinating stuff. I had no idea that flash chips actually broke down when written to. I wonder why since there are no moving parts? Tis a puzzlement. I am sure that flash memory cards will last long enough for digital cameras, but I'm just curious. I would think this MRAM would be very vulnerable to any kind of magnetic field. Any time you send an electron down a wire, you create a magnetic field. Don't forget all those kids out there with the secret magnetic decoder rings, just waiting to screw up you computer, camera or what have you. (g) Thanks for the article.
