"... how long it will take for the idiots in Washington to get it..."

Getting results from increased Capex takes time... Washington wants short term results, especially now.

Maybe the next administration will take a more responsible long term approach...

This being said, I agree with the idiots part!

One crisis, coming right up (If mother nature cooperates with a normal winter)!

This could easily become a political hot potato due to the elections. Everyone will be able to relate to it once they receive their first heating bill. Anyone care to bet that the government tries to "fix" the problem and makes it even worse?

There's never been a shortage of muggers in Colombia, LOL. Doesn't matter whether you are down there trying to get oil out of the ground and sell it or getting emeralds out of the ground to sell as my post awhile back about my buying trips to Bogota attempted to do. But Cartagena has some real nice beaches and "beach scenery" BTWG<G>.

And yes senior Bullski you get a big ROGER from me for hitting the nail on the head with this frank assessment of our "leaders" HA!

"I wonder how long it will take for the idiots in Washington to get it. What is NOT needed is more political pressure on OPEC. Can't squeeze blood from a stone, after all. Oil from an empty reservoir, neither".
