you should take a look at the BLS web site...it's incredibly easy to manipulate these data. imo they can keep it up forever, unless hyper-inflation breaks out and you need a wheelbarrow of money to buy a loaf of bread.

Chic, I saw you are wasting your time on SUNW tread, why??

The guy's there are quite dense and most of them pretend that they know something about stock valuation.

I am sure the BLS can think of some new adjusters...
Moreover, I am sure we ( the public) can be reassured that a little inflation is a good thing.
But, looking for inflation is a head fake: Easy Al is printing money to fight deflation...

Perhaps the Fed needs to sell some assets and warn about next two quarter's income being much higher than what the street expects. That will boost the dollar.

I've never seen so much purposeful negative spin before an acceptance speech. The Democrats and the media are spinning all over the place about how much trouble Gore is in tonight. Tomorrow, we will find out how terrific Gore is and that he has cast away his "dullness" demons and once again beat the "street".

I think we need to change all job performance rating systems at work so that we have a category called management expectations and whisper expectations. Then we can all get 100 percent annual increases because we beat the whisper.
