Its amazing how folks were/are ignoring this jewel at 17, 18, 20, 30, 40, 50 ....rock bottom prices! This is just a no-brainer purchase at this point! Big money w/should naturally flow in this issue now, for months to come, providing a nice accumulation phase with high RS. Distribution phase is over for this now. Bottom fishers have started jumping back in! You may not hear an upgrade though for couple of months or a bit more ... as long as it takes for their wealthy clients to accumulate this first! And the big money game continues!

Some other, few bottom fishes that I like at these levels are: QCOM, MSFT, SSOL, DGV, KAB, OMKT, NSPK, CPQ and IMGN.

regards to all,
-/Sonny.

p.s. all of these should beat real-estates, five times over at least, in the next year or so! :-)

Thanks Susan,
let us hope this continues, dependence on mainframe business has been a repeated concern accross the reports I saw, I wish somebody here could give some light on the new IBM products and on how BMCS does with Sun and HP servers,
thanks Alfredo

Good to hear from you again. I doubled up at 19 15/16 exactly 30 days ago. Its hard to believe that in such a short term it went from 40 something to 20 to 16 and now back to 25 all within a little over a month. I think this baby is up for sale. Stock action reminds me of Fore system before it was bought. Anyone buying bmc for under 50 will get the ultimate bargain and i believe the suitor is ibm. This is just a guess and a bit of cynicism on the runup which is believe could be based on some inside knowledge.

>>>>>Hi Mike, hi everybody,
just bought some BMCS, read merrill Lynch (22 target), Morgan Stanley (neutral), DLJ (target 27), First Boston (target 30), but at the end, the numbers talk better than
anybody: down 75%, selling at the price of early 1997 with revenues then of 563 mil, now revs of 1.7 bil. Very profitable with high operating margin and ROE consistently
(S&P report) last 10 yrs. <<<<<<

guess merrill lynch will be raising their target soon <ggg>
