I have no idea what a libertarian socialist is, but if it runs along the lines of your thinking, maybe they are okay as far as named groups go. You think I could be one? I think I'm probably still too inclined to reach for the dynamite.

And you are right about the Chinese workers, etc. We owe much to living off the backs of others.

And it does endanger our own lower-working class, but also provide them with some fairly decent goods at prices more in line with what they can afford. It was a difficult choice when I bought a pair of $20 tennies at Walmart that I knew had been made by someone making pennies, but it was all I could afford and I hadn't had a pair of shoes that fit well and were half-way decent in long time. I opted to buy them. I was also glad when I bought my next good shoes, and could afford some made in England by people making a good wage.

In some places, the factories are the beginning of something for people there. But whether we will choose to have a progression to higher wages and better living conditions, or grow accustomed to what we get, and exploit them, we will see.

Nike comes to mind, though. Those shoes are so expensive, and made at the expense of others, not their benefit. I can't stand them.
