Ausdauer, forgive me if I am late to the game but Lexar's news was ... "wonderful".

To semi-quote Lexar ... "Yeh ... that's the ticket! ... We expect to redesign our products before the trial ends ..." (assuming that the trial takes many years).

As to SNDK buying Lexar, note that their initial offering included the registration of options which was amended to exclude such options. Also, Lexar has indicated that SNDK has offered to purchase Lexar on "several occassions".

I don't doubt this. For <$250M they could cash out the option holders and invert the IPO. I hope that they do just that.

First, SNDK would cancel the Sony deal. And then, SNDK could take full advantage of LEXR's patents and web expertise.

Or, SNDK can wait them out and beat LEXR down until it dies. Considering SNDK's momentum, that may be the worst of all choices.
