I tend to agree. One in Maria's position has to be completely neutral about the market in my opinion, as no one ever knows what is really going to happen on any particular day, unless the S&P futures are up or down 20 points or something like that before the opening bell.....
One of the problems in my opinion is that she used to write mostly bullish (as far as I recall) articles for her husband's market paper when Steinberg was doing his own commercials on CNBC in the early to mid 1990's. So in my opinion, she just carried her writing style and habits over to CNBC, which was not too bad for an ongoing bullish stampede, but grows stale as the market struggles or goes mostly sideways..... At least she does not yell as much anymore, and she does'nt use that overworked going forward lingo as much as she used to, so she is improving some as we keep going forward. <lol> Yogi

One does not "keep up" with Teddy and Joey...One "puts-up" with Ted and Joe...

K. Hays has such a way and nothing breaks her stride...she just jockys through any BS that may attempt to break her stride...she just clips through all of it!

Maria is a PermaBull, in the Battipaglia tradition...

Like a Drum Major, Bartiromo is out-front, leading the NYSE band...

The Spirit of the Big Board...Maria brings the flavors.
