Mepsi:
Along with Hutch, I deal in options.(buy calls),my success ratio lately is 9 wins and 6 losses.
There is no market system invented that is 100% assured or everyone would be rich as sin.
Witness Bob Citron of Orange county, who made millions on decreasing bond rates and then lost billions, Or LTCM, or the Bass brothers, etc.
Problems in calls are finding the right stock, and lucky (or unlucky streaks) as in horses.
Find the right stock, at one time Dell,or msft, or aol, or yahoo, or qcom or jdsu and let er roll with no limit on the upside. And try to get out before they tank.(hehe)
Greg is the best I've seen at doing that.
Hard to describe, and success can only be determined by
plus or minus in the portfolio.
If you are winning today, thats excellent. A+
Good luck
Sig

Hutch: I agree. Whatever works for you is good enough.
I stopped being a speculator after losing a lot of money.

I know Brown & co has a lower margin for short options.

I will be switching the brokers in the next 6 months.
