And here's another ZD article which was obviously written after the author read my last post <VBG>:http://www.zdii.com/industry_list.asp?mode=news&doc_id=ZE504373&pic=Y&ticker= I can't help thinking that any power efficiency or performance or manufacturing cost levels that Transmeta can achieve with it IA32 emulator, can be beaten by a real IA32 processor - if Intel or AMD choose to consider Transmeta a threat. Zeev, is there some fundamental law of physics that would agree with me (I was only educated to age 18, and have forgotten almost everything I learned at school). I still expect INTC to take a hit from this though as there is likely to be a lot of hype and BS from the major players involved.
