Paul Tran:

"AMD fair price is $128.77.
AMD expected to earn $5.05/share for year ended 12/2000.
AMD last quarter 06/2000 was $1.21/share, 13.08% above estimates.
S&P500 average PE is 25.5
semiconductor average PE is 47.1
To be fair: AMD price should beat least 25.5 times $5.05 = $128.77
Now that is only S&P500 PE and no upside surprise counted.
INTC earning for 12/2000 year is estimated at $1.65, last quarter was $0.37, now that is pricey PE of 42.

AMD is so cheap. AMD is so cheap. AMD is so cheap. AMD is so cheap. AMD is so cheap. AMD is so cheap.AMD is so cheap."

Comment: I can't believe you've actually said all that...Too much euphoric optimism on this Saturday morning for me to handle :)!!! ... (But just imagine if AMD Y2000 eps falls within the $7.00 to $10.00 range...euphoric optimism be dam*ed, AMD price explosion cannot be avoided!!!)
