DDR DIMMs- Now available from Smart Modular Technologies
simmtester.com
P.S. While this is the first Simmtester reporting of this news, it isn't really that new, except for the on-line ordering feature -- Carl
===========================================================
Thanks for the DDR update Carl
The best part I clipped.

<<In addition, SMART is conducting device and DDR DIMM validation testing for AMD, ServerWorks, and Via Technologies.>>

Carl, By your own admission this isn't even NEW NEWS!
Now we have come to the point where we have to brag about
"on-line ordering for VALIDATION".

On-line ordering - Yes I would say that's a huge step forward for DDR.

Dave B. and Jeff: Hurry - better update your 12 step program with this hot breaking news!!! LOL LOL LOL

Boring - news is right. More LOL LOL LOL
mishedlo - still laughing

Carla... "... SMOD started supplying DDR to all those nonexistant DDR motherboard designers back around 6 months ago. And Micron already has DDR DIMMs available on line. But it is nice to have alternate sources coming up on line."

Where can I buy a DDR system? I went to Best, Circuit City, Micro Center, Staples, Office Max and they couldn't help me. In fact one salesman thought DELL was selling DDR systems now. So I called DELL and the rep laughed. He said DDR was too unstable. He said, "from what I know about DDR it would be like watching the second hand on your clock all of a sudden going counter-clockwise."
