Re: AMD and next week.. I'm surprised more discussion hasnt been talked about on here about the potential alliance Transmeta and AMD may be about to announce (a la AMD and Motorola) I think this is potentially big news... but it seems to have been ignored here.. or maybe its just you're all secretly reading the discussion that was going on about it at the AMD Mod. thread:)

From the hardware sites, the news has generally been greeted very positively.. seems to have been overlooked on here tho.

Rob,

AMF had a respectable week.

Don't they make bowling pins?

AMF had a respectable week. The price wasn't up as much as a few semis that the street loves more but AMD drew attention as the semi rally continued toward the end of the week. Confirmation that production and speed ramp is going well should continue to help. AMD should outperform INTC and some some other semis over the next few weeks.

Prior to last week, AMD's acc/distr. rating had dropped back down to an E; however in the last week it moved back up to a D......not great but better.

You've got to take the good news wherever you can get it!
