Hi Clappy!

P.P.S. Anyone know how to make fried green tomatoes?
Is it as simple as it's name?

cut in 1/2" slices flour, season and fry.

Hey Clappy you can be the Forrest Grump of Tomatoes.

Broil'em, Stew 'em, Fry 'em, Mash 'em, Bake 'em, Can 'em, Grill 'em,, Scallop 'em, Stuff 'em, Freeze 'em, Cream 'em, Mold 'em, Fondue 'em, Freeze dry 'em, Stuff em, Roast 'em, Glaze 'em, Pickle 'em, BBQ 'em, and Eat 'em.

That ought to take care of about 100 of them.....let's see that leaves ya with only 9,999,900 more tomatoes.

Just trying to help ya!

love,
dealie

hi clappy,

"I have 10,000,000 tomatoes"

i have been making a tomato salad since it was published in "bon appetite" magazine in 1996. the big blonde and i just love it. here is the recipe:

food.epicurious.com

glad to hear your garden is doing so well. one of my gardens is sick. where 7 foot tall corn usually grows, the stalks are 2 to 3 feet tall. i have just found out it is poisoned with salt from my well-water. i am just sick over it as there is not much i can do about it.

do try the recipe as it is good.

piscato the tomato lover.
