No matter, this isn't the right time for voting 3rd party, anyway.

Why not? There isn't a nickels worth of difference between the two major parties. Neither one even bothers giving lip service to principles any more. They both attempt to round up enough gangs of various special interest groups to gain a majority and then dole out rewards and punishments accordingly. We're seeing the evils of democracy that some of the more perceptive founders of our Republic envisioned.

What freedom and liberty truly mean is a concept that's totally absent in mainstream media reporting and, more importantly, in the public school system. It's small wonder that the younger generation doesn't vote or care about politics. They perceive that there's little they can do to change the entrenched status quo and have never been taught or exposed to libertarian principles.

I'll vote this year and I'll vote for every Libertarian candidate that's on the ballot. It's not a wasted vote, it's a statement of principle against the rising tide of increased taxes, rules and regulations that erode our freedoms and are imposed upon us by the do-gooder, statist nannys who infest Washington DC.

What the LP needs is someone who's intelligent, a great, articulate public speaker, a teacher of the necessity of freedom in creating and maintaining a civilized society, and filthy rich enough (like Perot) and/or already well enough known in the public eye to be able to get the message out. Maybe someday...

Charley; Good ol' Harry believes that there is a majority of Americans who are going to rise up and demand that street drugs be de-criminalized and all the thugs who are doing any time for any drug-related offense be released back to society............Somehow this is going to create a better society for everyone....

How Harry is going to sell this to the public is going to be some sight to see......

IMO, what a waste of the L. Party.
