Netscape 4.75 - - after trying to get the download (over 1 hour on dial up connection) - -it froze at 100% complete- -I used smart update thinking it would just resume from where it froze at 100% complete(-to do the install process) -BUT it started the one hour download process from the beginning again. Decided to give it a rest. Will back up the user directory (thanks for the reminder!) and try again after I hear about your success. If I open up to 5 browser windows in Netscape I crash - -while I can open up 20 with MSie 5.5 and never crash - -so use ie browsing and Netscape primarily for email. Anyone else limited in number of open browser windows in Netscape?? As an additional note, did you try any of Fred Langa's suggestions? Cacheman was an easy choice to try and no problems to report with that install. donnacat
