I didn't mean keep to them selves for their Risc chips, but keep to them selves for their own Itanium systems. HP will be able to sell Itanium systems (servers) with this added crucial feature, command a hefty premium for it, and so leave other Itanium system builders out in the cold.

Such a situation could transfer to HP some of the high margins that Intel traditionally enjoyed on their server class chip sales.

In such an Itanium server market, how would Dell be able to compete?
