Thanks for the response. Were you unaware that Ward Connerly was going to and still may bring to the ballot the same anti-affirmative issue that passed in California? Jeb issued his executive order in response to that threat and held it off for awhile. Although I find affirmative action a form of reverse discrimination, the way it is being used now, I think we would all be better off if everyone was treated equally. Orlando, for instance, had an article about 6-12 months ago in the paper that stated that blacks were moving here in droves and being successful, comparing favorably to blacks' situation in Atlanta. Maybe Lakeland, being a smaller town is a little behind the times.knc
