dustcatcher-

my ira is with datek online. datek does not trade options. they keep saying they're going to but never come through. i transferred the stock in my trading account to accutrade, bought calls and lost all my money. :-) i also put in a transfer for the stock in my ira - it got hung up somewhere and never got transferred - somehow i took it as providence and just never followed up - so i'm still in datek with the ira. i'm ok with that for now and if and when i want to change that i will.

accutrade allows selling covered calls in an ira but no other options plays. a few brokers allow any type of options trades in an ira.

thanks for the post though. there was a time when i did not know that there were brokers who allowed options trading.
