I highly doubt this figure, do you have a source? I can't imagine the bottom 80% actually have 20% influence. My guess is it's the top 5% that control/own 80% of this country's wealth.

So? The relative wealth is meaningless. It is only the basis of the politics of envy (e.g. Al Gore and his fans)

What matters to reasonable people is absolute wealth.
