Richard, everything points to a very nice rally in the equity market as the year comes to an end. The NYSE hit a NEW HIGH Last Week. The Dow Jones Utilities, as a leading indicator for the broad market, has been hitting new highs. The Bull Market is alive and Well in the USA.

IMO Greenspan's next move of consequence in regard to monetary policy will be radical easing, which should help Gold.

I'm not saying the equity market will rally strongly today, tomorrow or this week. But I have a green light on equities, especially some cheap tech stocks (not CSCO or INTEL) for the remainder of this year.

That long term dollar index chart I posted yesterday is very ominous for Gold over the short term and Bullish for High TECH.
