Albert, I am familiar with how to value a company. Were I a buyer of MSFT for any other reason than the greater fool exercise, I would certainly expect dividends at some point, or share buybacks, which we both know they already do, or both.

Sometimes, a company that looks like it is soon to be bankrupt will actually soon be bankrupt. I doubt you will find one instance of such a thing occurring without similar protestations by shareholders, insiders, creditors and optimistic remarks by officers of the salvation that will never come. That may or may not be the case here, we've all placed our bets.
