No, for two reasons:
1) Gold Futures is somewhat thin today with the exception of Dec 2000
2) The CEO of Kinross was on TV today suggesting that it's likely "WE" will see more mergers. In fact he suggested it was strange that you haven't see some of the biggers merging. Source RobTV

The real action will likely start after the FED comments. So be in or out before that.
